iOS 13 Features I Found (and like)

iOS 13.1 is available for updating. It includes patches for bugs found in the first release - 13.0. I am currently exploring it's features and summarizing the most useful features (IMO). If you like something, search using keywords.

• Dark Mode is now universal and can be time set
• Notes app: much improved (ordering, headings, checklists and more)
• Notes app: contains 'swipe type' just like the SwiftKey app (like a mouse)
• Notes app: now allows drag & drop organizing of folders (and sub-folders)
• Notes app: checklist also has drag & drop organizing
• Privacy: Location Services can be disabled until you 'Allow' once
• Privacy: Bluetooth Request allows the user to decide to allow or not
• Photos App: with Dark Mode - cool; Days selects 'best' pics 
• Maps: Use 'Collections' in Maps to create a list of places you want to go

STOP - "Verification Required" on iPhone

Have you been bothered by being asked to verify payment menthods (credit card) on the App Store even when you try to download free apps? I think I foun the solution. Check out the link below (orange text).

iPhone, iPad and Mac Apps Sync

Can iBooks and Apple Notes sync across all Apple devices? Well - almost and No. I save reports and tech articles that are PDF docs on the iPad so it is mobile and convenient in the car or on the beach. However, even though the app exists on the Mac and the iPad, Apple suggests the PDF be downloaded separately to each device. Solution: instead of iBooks - use Pocket (Read it Later).

Similarly, Apple's recent upgrade to the latest iOS 9 and OS El Capitan 10.11 has create an inability to sync Apple Notes across devices. Solution: install Wunderlist app in mobile device and use Wunderlist website for the Mac. 

One big benefit of this approach for drive space limited Macs is that this approach does not require space utilization on computer since you're using the web versus installed app.
