2011 Weeki Wachee Christmas
Grandma and Grandpa asked Robbie and Brayden to join us and visit Weeki Wachee for their annual Christmas light display and show. We all wanted Princess Kayla, but she and her Mom traveled to Pennsylvania to visit the Harelson clan and enjoy the wonderful 40 degree early winter weather. First a stop at Denny's for dinner that turned out to be a pancake, egg, bacon (and some pancakes with some chocolate chip added in for a little extra flavor) feast. The pancakes were DEVOURED, and we finished our travel to Weeki Wachi. Upon entering Robbie and Brayden were looking for some hot Mermaid babes ... but we were not seeing the underwater display this time. We wrote letters to Santa (me too), saw lots of beautiful light displays, jumped over cracks in the sidewalk, went to the bathroom numerous times, and saw two shows - Candy Land and Dance. We saw a talent side of Brayden during the Dance when he stood up in the audience stands, clapped his hands, did a 360 turn around in sync with the dancers and danced almost every dance the players did - however they were on stage. He was the hit for everyone around us! Getting on to 9:00pm, we decided it was time for a hot drink and cookies and we grabbed them both on the way out as Grandma signed autographs for all who recognized her from the Springhill AVA 'casino'. It was a real fun night ... we missed Kayla. Brayden and Robbie wished she was there with us. Oh, I almost forgot - Santa gave me my gift that I asked for on my Christmas list - MY OWN MERMAID! ... I just did not know how to bring her home with Grandma in the car.
