A Security Recap - July 2019

Previous posts on this blog talked about my interest/concern about privacy and personal identity protection. Today I am recapping my progress.

1. Google Search replaced with Duck Duck Go as my default search tool

2. Mozilla Firefox replaced Google Chrome as the browser

3. Password Managers used to remember unique passwords for each site

4. Different email accounts in place to separate social, financial and encrypted communication

5. Disposable email services: PrivNote and 10-Minute Email used for one time sharing

6. Additional Cloud notes and spreadsheets service added to reduce all info on Google

7. Two-factor authentication in place on many web services
