MacBook: To Plug or Unplug Battery Charger
Battery technology advances. The web has many different suggestions on how a user should operate their portable computer (charge when 20%, unplug when over 80%; do not leave charger after reaching 100%, etc. etc.). Most recent discussions with Apple Support brought to light 'recommended' battery use and charging protocol to optimize battery life. Here are basic bullet points:
